Maika Komodo Tour & Diving runs both scuba trips and island tours from its shop on Jl. Soekarno Hatta, which makes it a practical choice for groups where some people dive and others want to snorkel or hike. It is an SSI centre teaching Try Scuba, Open Water, Advanced Adventurer and Divemaster.
Daily dive trips go to central and north Komodo, and the centre combines diving with a dragon trek on some days. For longer trips it runs its own small liveaboard, Maika Dive, with four cabins, alongside 3D2N and 4D3N packages on partner boats such as DhanielQ, where divers and snorkellers share the boat. Several guests have completed their Open Water course during a liveaboard.
