Labuan Bajo Go Where

Eat & Drink

Labuan Bajo eats well for a small town. Seafood is the obvious choice: grilled fish, squid and lobster at the Kampung Ujung night market by the harbour, or at the waterfront restaurants along the main road. Indonesian warungs serve nasi campur and ikan bakar for a few dollars, and Italian, Japanese and healthy cafés cater to visitors.

Flores coffee, grown in the highlands around Bajawa and Ruteng, is worth seeking out at the town's cafés. Many restaurants close early by city standards, and some are shut during the quieter wet season, so check opening hours before heading out.
