Bajo Dive Club calls itself the town's longest-running dive centre, operating since 1991, and it is a PADI 5-star centre on the main road above the harbour. The German-run team keeps groups small and teaches PADI courses from Open Water to Divemaster.
Current packages are clear and priced in rupiah: two days and six dives Rp 5,200,000, three days and nine dives Rp 7,500,000, the Open Water course over two to three days Rp 8,000,000 and the Advanced course over two days Rp 7,050,000, all with equipment. It also runs scheduled dive liveaboards (3D2N from Rp 10,600,000 and 4D3N from Rp 14,150,000) and private charters on its own safari boat.
After diving, its Hafenblick bar serves German draught beer with a view over the bay. Reviews highlight patient instructors and good pre-trip communication. One recent review mentions engine trouble that left a boat drifting for a while, so ask about the day's boat when you book. Bookings go through the website, email or WhatsApp.
Boats and rooms sell out from June to September. Message the operator early.
