UNIQUE Rooftop Bar

UNIQUE is the rooftop bar of AYANA Komodo Waecicu Beach, set at the resort's highest point and open to the sky above the jetty. It faces west over the bay and the islands, which makes it one of the best-placed sunset spots on the north coast.

The cocktails use local flavours such as Flores coffee and cacao, and the bar serves light bites (beef puffs, croquettes) and flavoured shisha. It opens at 17:00 and stays open until 00:30, so you can arrive for sunset and stay on. Non-guests are welcome. It rates 4.8 on Google.

Prices are at international resort level. Reserve through the resort for sunset tables in the dry season, and allow 15 minutes by taxi from the harbour.

The resort also has a lower-level sunset bar, Naga Bar, at the end of its pier, and a beachfront seafood grill, KISIK, which open the evening to dinner afterwards. Smart casual dress is expected. Taxis wait at the resort entrance for the return journey to town.
