Katamaran Komodo opened in 2024 on the coast road at Waecicu, about five minutes by car from Plaza Marina. The main block climbs the hillside so that most rooms face the sea, and a line of overwater villas, with harbour or sunset views, runs out on a pier over the turquoise bay.

Room types go from Ocean Deluxe and Premier Ocean rooms to family suites, three penthouses and the overwater villas. Food and drink is spread between Layar restaurant, The Kliff Bistro on the cliff edge, a pool bar and Uni, a floating beach club. There is also Soulbliss Spa, a gym and a kids' programme.
