Sokaraja is a Labuan Bajo liveaboard aimed at divers and snorkellers on a budget. The boat offers private cabins or a shared room; there is no air conditioning, but nights in Komodo are usually cool enough. Deck areas are set up for lounging between dives.
Itineraries run for 4D3N and 5D4N from the KP3 jetty and focus on the park's best-known sites, from a gentle check dive to Batu Bolong, Castle Rock, Manta Point and the muck diving at Mawan, with treks such as Gili Lawa Darat and a stop at Taka Makassar. Snorkellers follow the same route. The team publishes a guide on diving sustainably in Komodo.
Published rates run from IDR 2,000,000 to IDR 2,800,000 per person per day depending on cabin and activity. Book through the website or WhatsApp. The diving is good year round but the dry season, roughly April to November, is more comfortable on a boat without air conditioning. Park and diving fees are usually extra, so bring cash.
Boats and rooms sell out from June to September. Message the operator early.
