Seaesta Komodo sits on the main harbour road in Labuan Bajo, a minute from the port where most Komodo boat trips leave. It mixes eight-bed dorms (mixed or female only, each bunk with a privacy curtain, reading light and charging locker) with around 17 private rooms, including deluxe rooms that sleep three, all with air conditioning and en-suite bathrooms.
The rooftop is the main draw: a lagoon-style pool, a bar and restaurant serving tapas and tacos, and a clear view west over the harbour at sunset. There is also a small gym, pool table, board games and film nights, and live music some evenings. Recent guests describe a lively, young crowd, so light sleepers may prefer a private room away from the roof.
It suits solo travellers and groups who want to meet people before or after a liveaboard, and the staff can help arrange shared boat trips. Book direct through the hotel's Cloudbeds page or by email; dorm beds are among the cheapest in town.
Boats and rooms sell out from June to September. Message the operator early.
