Samambaia

Samambaia is a 40 m phinisi with a 9 m beam, built by divers for divers and taking just 14 guests. There are seven staterooms: four convertible double or twin cabins, two twin cabins on the lower deck and a large Master Cabin with 180 degree sea views on the main deck, each with a private bathroom. An onboard masseuse is part of the package.

The boat's Komodo programme includes eleven night Bali to Komodo crossings ending in Labuan Bajo and Komodo National Park trips continuing to East Flores, alongside seasons in Raja Ampat, the Banda Sea and Alor. Land excursions are mixed in with three or four dives a day.

Prices are high, in the region of IDR 133 million per person for an eleven night trip, and suit experienced divers wanting long itineraries. Book through the website or by phone.
