Le Bajo Flores

Le Bajo Flores is a compound of four venues built along Dermaga Putih, the white pier that runs out into the harbour at Kampung Ujung. At the far end, the main dining deck sits on the water with loungers, a bar and steps for swimming; along the pier are L Plus (a woodfire café open from early morning), Buso Izakaya (sushi and sashimi from 17:00) and a shop.

It is a relaxed spot for a sundowner with the boats and islands in front of you, and it runs regular events such as sunset paddle and barbecue evenings and sushi nights. Swimwear is needed if you plan to swim, and leashed dogs are welcome. It holds a 4.7 rating from more than 1,000 Google reviews.

The compound is open daily from 07:00 to 23:00, with the main dining deck from 11:00. Book a bed or table online at sunset.

The pier is a short ride from the harbour and the town's hotels, and there is parking at the entrance. Outside food and drinks are not allowed; cakes and wine brought in carry fees. Swimming off the deck is possible in calm conditions.
